How it all began
The spark behind The Wag Life Co.
Hi, I’m Natalie — a Canadian now living in Argentina with my family and our dog, Milo.
WAG started with a simple truth: life feels better when your dog’s part of the journey. But it also began with heartbreak — seeing how many dogs here live without care, safety, or even shelter.
The WAG Life Co. was born to change that. It’s a space where dog parents feel equipped and empowered to explore — and where dogs in need aren't forgotten along the way.

The moment I knew something had to change
When the “best option” wasn’t good enough
When we moved, I relied on a pet travel agency to bring Milo safely overseas. I paid a premium and assumed he was in good hands. Later, I found out there were better, more humane options — I just didn’t know they existed.
That helpless feeling — being unsure, misled, or stuck with uncomfortable choices — was something I never wanted another dog parent to go through.

Simplifying life on the move
Making the complicated feel doable
Whether it’s a quick weekend getaway or a big international move, bringing your dog along can feel overwhelming. What gear do you need? What airline rules apply? How do you keep them safe and stress-free?
I created WAG to make it easier — to cut through the confusion and offer clear, trustworthy solutions. Because with the right support, life on the move with your dog doesn’t just work — it thrives.

What rescue taught me
The other side of the story
Once we settled in Argentina, I began volunteering with a local rescue. It opened my eyes to a reality far from curated pet stores and Instagrammable moments. Many dogs here fight to survive — no shelter, no safety, no home to call their own.
That experience shaped WAG into more than a product platform. It became a purpose: to give all dogs — not just the lucky ones — a chance at love, adventure, and care.

Inspired by Bonita
How one rescue changed everything
One afternoon, I found a trembling, malnourished dog lying in the street. She had no collar, no home — just fear in her eyes. We named her Bonita. And with the help of local rescuers, she got the care she needed and a fresh start.
Bonita reminded me that hope is real — and that even small actions can lead to big change. Her story gave WAG its soul.

Why WAG exists
The heart behind every product
Milo sparked the idea. Bonita gave it heart. Together, they inspired The WAG Life Co. — your trusted hub for gear, guidance, and good intentions.
We’re here to help you explore more, stress less, and support the dogs who need us most. A portion of every purchase goes toward rescue efforts — because every dog deserves joy, safety, and a life full of tail wags.
